Canadian Indie Rockers Metric recently announced some new U.S. tour dates in support of their hit album Fantasies, and yippee, Maryland’s on the list! (Sadly, and surprisingly, NYC is not. Then again, it is Metric, who don’t work traditionally. Label? Yeah, right.) If you’re in D.C. you know Baltimore’s not that far, and Emily Haines is totally worth the trip. She’s got one hell of a voice and a whole lot of spunk. For the rest of you, hopefully something is near by?

Man! I’d love to see that Baltimore show, but it’s right during my honeymoon!
I hope for everyone’s sake they start changing up the setlist.
Firstly, congratulations Tom!
Re: set list – have they been playing the same set for a while? What’s the deal with that?
Thanks!
Yeah, the set list has had the same songs since the release of Fantasies. Something along the lines of http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/metric/2009/930-club-washington-dc-43d60387.html over and over. Not that the set isn’t great, but it cuts out the excitement!
