Can you believe this is going to be my second post mentioning Justin Bieber on Knox Road? I have good reason, I promise. But I didn’t want to actually post a picture of him, considering our site’s no-robots policy, so here’s an adorable puppy.
Anyway, onto the content. Have you ever said to yourself, “Man, I love Justin Bieber, but I’d love him so much more if someone took one of his songs and slowed it down to glacial proportions!” I haven’t either. I don’t think anyone has, really. But lo and behold, some enterprising dudes on the interwebs took Bieber’s “U Smile” and stretched it out 800%. Now, the length of the song is longer than it took the kid to rise to fame. Also, it’s kind of beautiful. Maybe there’s something to this star after all — he draws in the tweens with his cookie-cutter pop, but he really wants to be a sound engineer, man.
Here’s Sigur Ros-by-way-of 16-year-old:
And the original song for reference OH MY GOD MY EARS MY BEAUTIFUL EARS:
i’ve listened to this 4 times and it is fucking brilliant. the viral link of the year so far imo. i fear my face might explode upon listening to the original so i’m just gonna skip it. a
This is awesome! But a 4 minute song stretched x800 would be more than 50 hrs long. (I guess the stretch was about 800% which is factor 8). Which is still relatively short compared to this project: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/2728595.stm
@knoxroad one of the most epic ‘beeber’ songs i’ve ever heard 🙂
97% of my appreciation for this post stems from the main picture.
