The New York crew is at it again with their monthly free EPs, and they’ve managed to show improvement on each one (which is difficult because I loved the first effort I heard), establishing even further chemistry. This one mirrors the time of its release, as “Sun (From Underneath The Lake)” is a shimmery tune with vocals (not lyrics) that just don’t make sense – it sounds like one of the dudes is from a foreign country that I don’t even know of, because he has this distinct, out-of-nowhere singing accent – and it sounds awesome. The other track is the first only instrumental track we’ve heard off the EPs so far. While I personally think their singing makes the music unique (as previously noted), “Light Dancing On Water” still makes for easy background sound. Check out the songs below, or download the EP in full from the Akudama website.
