Who wouldn’t be excited for this super-hip show? Frequent collaborators Grizzly Bear and Final Fantasy (essentially Owen Pallett) are coming to the Brooklyn Academy of Music February 28 (exactly one week from today!). Expect to hear plenty of horns (…get it?), strings, and anticipation throughout the audience for the upcoming albums from these folks. One of my favorite songs of all time is Final Fantasy’s remix of Grizzly Bear’s “Don’t Ask” – everytime I hear it my body twitches, goes numb (I know, NOT healthy), and I’m forced to stop whatever I’m doing to listen (healthy). If their concert is anything like that (which I expect it will be) then we’re all in for one heck of a treat. Magical is the word to use for the work of these artists.

the name is misleading, I heard nothing that sounded like Final fantasy, where are the classic nobuo Uematsu tracks?
Milstein took the words right out of my mouth.
Or fingers, rather.
We’ve got beef with Owen Pallett, man. “Sir, I knew John Cale, and you are no John Cale”, that kinda thing.
THE EUREKA FLAG has a in-depth, smack-downish dismissal of this boy.
But we are nice.
LOVE A PASCHAL CIRCUS
To each his own, I suppose. Though you don’t seem to have much backing to your claim since all you’ve heard is one video.
Owen Pallett, response?
